Hi Missy,

A false positive is something that looks paranormal but is completely normal..Example of a false positive is a persons breath in the cold weather on film..it will look like ectoplasm when in fact it is only a persons breath
Another example is a bug flying past the camera..it will look like a moving Orb on film, when it is only a bug..

Where can I go to see examples of false positives? Is it hard to really tell them apart from the real thing?

Go to the link below for info on false positives. The article refers to EVPs, ectoplasm, photographs etc; however, they do not have any photos posted. For photo exposays type paranormal false positives in the search engine & you will be directed to numerous sites that may meet your needs. Check back with CHIPS, we are currently expanding and under construction. Photos of false positives will be added in the very near future. Hope this helps. Good luck!
